Custom Shift Linkage Rods for Harley-Davidsons

RoadNames custom Harley shift linkage rods fit most late model Harley-Davidson big twins from 1984 through the current FL models. All our custom shift linkages for Harley-Davidsons are billet aluminum and either chrome-plated or black-anodized. 

These custom-made motorcycle shifter links feature an insert, either black-anodized billet aluminum or modified acrylic. We laser engrave the insert with your design – a nickname for you or your bike, an anniversary date, a graphic design, a club logo, whatever you want it to say. The only limitation is the size: the engravable space is ½” high and 6.5” long.

Inserts of microsurfaced-modified 2-ply acrylic laminates offer a range of color combinations - see photos at right for examples. Once your design has been lasered, an epoxy clear coat is applied to enhance the UV stability and protect the laminate surface.

A chrome-plated rod end set is included with each custom Harley shift linkage rod from RoadNames. The set includes two ball joint style chrome rod ends, two jam nuts and two acorn nuts. These are a direct replacement for the chrome rod ends that came stock on your Harley. All threaded parts are 5/16” – fine thread just like your stock Harley parts.

Or, you can upgrade to chrome Heim joints for only $7.00 additional cost. No matter which chrome rod end hardware you choose, it takes only 2 wrenches and about 10 or 15 minutes to install your new link.
